• Detailed Gem Description:
A natural corundum with a definitive color shift in daylight. Under an overcast sky, the gem appears a dominant purple hue. With off-center viewing (for example I look slightly to the left at my hand instead, the gem has a distinct color change to a bluish violet. My cameras aren't able to capture this shift, but it is very noticeable to the human eye. It has a medium tone and moderately strong saturation. It is visibly included, the microscope report is pending. This is an open tone sapphire with a very desirable shade of purple.
Photos were taken in daylight exclusively. Videos were taken outdoors under a blue sky with the sun overhead, additional videos were taken indoors in passive lighting, under my overhead led lights, and by a window. Please review all the videos thoroughly.
