• Center Sapphire is 1.39 carats, 5.8mm from flat to flat, 6.2mm from corner to corner, and 3.4mm in depth.
• I personally faceted this gem in my own fantasy square octagon design
• Untreated naturally occurring sapphire. Gem rough sourced from Nigeria
• Gem Notes: This gem has a dominant blue hue with a secondary green hue. It has a dark tone and strong saturation. Some inclusions typical of sapphire from this locale are visible under magnification.
**You can expect a deep blue sapphire, in most indoor lighting it will appear a borderline opaque blue with electric flashes of blue or green as it catches the light. Under direct light (like a desk lamp) or in direct sunlight it opens up a little bit. This is a deep inky blue sapphire.
