This is a decent sized salmon colored Oregon Sunstone. This is a particularly clean piece, with only a few larger copper platelets visible. This gem is simply vibrant! It is open tone and it will glow and sparkle in any lighting. I'd recommend at least an 18kt yellow or rose gold for a setting. A 22kt yellow gold would be ideal. White gold alloys are very tough, its possible a white gold setting might damage this gem. A 95% platinum iridium alloy would be suitable as well.
