A classic example of an unheated tanzanite, I find it leans more beige and pink under artificial light and then more lilac in daylight. The pastel tones are a visual indicator this tanzanite has not undergone heat treatment. Heat treatment typically turns tanzanite a vibrant shade of blue or purple. It is an eye clean and extremely sparkly. Be sure to view the indoor video scenes of the gem on hand and in the acrylic case to get a feel for how it looks under artificial light. If the color is agreeable with you, it will make a stunning centerpiece!
