• 4.8mm in length, 4.9mm in width (yeah, you read that correctly), and 3.2mm in depth

• Naturally occurring corundum (sapphire)
Detailed Gem Description:
A natural and untreated corundum (sapphire) with a split hue. It has a dominant yellow hue indoors with blue/green on the edges depending on the lighting. In daylight it still has a dominant yellow hue, however, the blue and green become much more prominent. It has a medium light tone and moderately strong saturation. It is eye clean! Some inclusions typical of corundum from this locale are visible under magnification. This is a petite little sapphire, but it is extremely beautiful (in my opinion) and it is open-tone, it will glow and sparkle in any lighting!

Photos were taken in daylight and under a microscope. Videos were taken outdoors under a blue sky with the sun overhead, additional videos were taken indoors in passive lighting, under my overhead led lights, and by a window. Please review all the videos thoroughly.

• Microscopy Report:
This is an exceptionally clean sapphire. A laminar twinning plane is visible and a small surface reaching imperfection is also visible under magnification. In the first reference photo depicting the crown (top of the gemstone), you can see both of these inclusions. The twinning plane looks like a very subtle straight line extending from the bottom towards the top right-hand side of the gemstone. It is visible in the first reference photo slightly offset to the bottom right. The surface reaching inclusion is on the top corner of the bottom right-most facet in the first reference photo. The reference photos were taken at 4x magnification with overhead illumination.
