• Cut in my custom hexagonal design
• Unheated/Untreated
• Naturally occurring
• Zoisite var. Tanzanite
• Detailed Gem Description:
A natural untreated tanzanite that has a dominant bluish Violet hue and a secondary violetish Purple hue. The dominant color depends on the viewing angle and lighting. It is also worth noting that at a very high elevation where my student lives (Eagle Nest, NM) it appeared more dominant reddish Purple in hue. It has a medium tone and moderately strong/ strong saturation. It is loupe clean! This is an open-tone gem, it will glow and sparkle in all lighting!
Photos were taken indoors in a light box. Videos were taken outdoors under a blue sky with the sun overhead, additional videos were taken indoors in passive lighting, under my overhead led lights, and by a window. Please review all the videos thoroughly.
