• I prefer this gem be purchased loose only. If you would like me to set this gem for you, you will have to wait until I work through most of my current commissions. If you don't want to wait I'm happy to recommend one of jeweler peers to make a setting for it.
This is such a brilliant little spinel. It leans towards a lilac color indoors with grayish saturation. In brighter outdoor lighting it looks silvery/gray. It is open tone, it will glow and sparkle in any lighting. There are some small inclusions but I have a hard time spotting them without magnification, so I would rate this gem as eye clean. This is an incredibly dispersive piece, those blue flashes you see in the videos would meet the book definition example of dispersion in gemstones, its truly brilliant. I think think this would make an exceptional center gem for a ring.
