• Naturally occurring corundum (sapphire)
Detailed Gem Description:
A natural and untreated corundum (sapphire) with a split hue of yellowish Green and greenish Blue depending on the light source. The split hue is dominantly visible in daylight. It has a dominantly dark tone and moderately strong saturation. Inclusions are visible without magnification, see the microscopy report for details.
See the last four photos for reference on how I graded these. To maintain originality, I personally made the reference graphics with gems of my own design but it is based on GIA's color description system.
Photos were taken in daylight exclusively. Videos were taken outdoors under a blue sky with the sun overhead, additional videos were taken indoors in passive lighting, under my overhead led lights, and by a window. Please review all the videos thoroughly.

• Microscopy Report:
This gem has two dominant fractures, both were partially fluid-filled at one point, however now only an empty cavity remains. Stress from the fluid expanding or contracting over time caused fractures surrounding the fluid cavity to form, these will light up as rainbows in certain lighting. The inclusions are clearly visible without magnification. See the reference photos for details (4x, darkfield).
