This listing is for the depicted loose gemstone that I personally precision faceted on my custom-made lapidary equipment
• 2.02 carats
• 8.7mm from point to point, 7.7mm from flat to flat, and 4.7mm in depth
• Cut in my own galaxy hexagonal design
• Unheated/untreated
• Naturally occurring corundum (sapphire)
Detailed Gem Description:
A natural and untreated corundum (sapphire) that has a very slightly bluish Green hue, a light tone, and slightly grayish to grayish saturation depending on the lighting. This gem is eye-clean! There is an ever slight hint of purple right at the center point that is visible in certain lighting.
This level of clarity for an unheated/untreated Montana sapphire is the 0.01% of all Montana sapphires. This is a real gem among Montana sapphires.
See the last four photos for reference on how I graded these. To maintain originality, I personally made the reference graphics with gems of my own design but it is based on GIA's color description system.
Photos were taken in in daylight and a few were in my lightbox. Videos were taken outdoors under an overcast sky, the sun did briefly peek through the clouds in two of the videos. Additional videos were taken indoors in passive lighting, under my overhead LED lights, and by a window. Please review all the videos thoroughly.
Gemstone Rough Country of Origin: Montana, USA (El Dorado Bar)

• Microscopy Report:
This gem features a few very classic inclusions typical of Montana Sapphire. I stacked multiple photos and I also created GIFs out of them so you can see how much depth the inclusions have within the gem. Most notable are the wisps of rutile silk. There is the beginning of one hexagonal formation and multiple smaller wisps as well as a few elongated needles. There is one small healed fracture off to one side. The crisp undamaged appearance of the rutile formations and needles is a distinct indicator that this sapphire has not been enhanced by heat treatment.
Photos 1&2: Depict the beginning of a rutile silk hexagonal formation. The white appearing "silk" and the needles displaying rainbow colors are all part of this formation.
Photos 2&3: This is the same photo, the first one is a composite of 12 photos, the second is a GIF I made to give you an idea of the depth of these inclusions within the gem. Also another sparse cluster of rutile silk and rutile needles.
Photos 3&4: This is the same photo, the first is a composite of 3 photos, and the second is a GIF I made to give you an idea of the depth of these inclusions within the gem. Again, another sparse cluster of rutile silk near the edge.
