Detailed Gem Description:
A natural and untreated corundum (sapphire) that has a bluish Green hue, a medium tone, and very slightly grayish to moderately strong saturation depending on the lighting. This gem has a variety of visible inclusions typical of corundum from this locale. See the microscopy report for more details.
See the last four photos for reference on how I graded these. To maintain originality, I personally made the reference graphics with gems of my own design but it is based on GIA's color description system.
Photos were taken in in daylight and a few were in my lightbox. Videos were taken outdoors under an overcast sky, the sun did briefly peek through the clouds in two of the videos. Additional videos were taken indoors in passive lighting, under my overhead LED lights, and by a window. Please review all the videos thoroughly.

• Microscopy Report:
This gem has two prominent types of inclusions. The first and most noticeable are the clusters of rutile silk. These look like clouds or dust sprinkled into the gem. The second are rose channels. These look like needles spanning the gem in a grid like formation.
Photos 1-4: These are reference photos (4x, darkfield) You can clearly see the rutile (looks like dust or clouds) and the rose channels (look like needles in grids) In photo 4 you can see tiny stress fissures surrounding one of the rose channels.
Photos 5-6: Photo 5 is an animation and photo 6 are all the frames of the animation stacked. These depict a closeup of a rutile silk cluster underneath the table of the gem with rose channels also visible in the frames. (20x darkfield)
Photos 7-8: Photo 7 is an animation and photo 8 are all the frames of the animation stacked. These depict an intersection of rose channels (10x darkfield)
Photos 9-10 Photo 9 is an animation and photo 10 are all the frames of the animation stacked. These depict the same rutile silk cluster from photos 5&6 but a little further away and with more frames in the animation/stack. (10x darkfield)

The animations depict how deep the inclusions are relative to the focal plane of the microscope lens.
