• Naturally occurring corundum (sapphire)
Detailed Gem Description:
A natural and untreated corundum (sapphire) that has a blue hue, a light to very light tone, and grayish saturation. An inclusion is visible without magnification. This is an open tone sapphire, it will glow and sparkle in any light!
See the last four photos for reference on how I graded these. To maintain originality, I personally made the reference graphics with gems of my own design but it is based on GIA's color description system.
Photos were taken in daylight exclusively. Videos were taken outdoors under a blue sky with the sun overhead, additional videos were taken indoors in passive lighting, under my overhead led lights, and by a window. Please review all the videos thoroughly.
