This is a very sparkly open sapphire. Inclusions typical of sapphire from this locale are visible without magnification. The color split is visible in most lighting environments. The dominant color is violet or lilac, depending on the light source, with a slight fade to a lighter silvery hue by the horizontal ends of the gem. A slight color shift is noticeable with off-center viewing, but it is very subtle in this gem. This will make a beautiful centerpiece in a One-Of-A-Kind ring.
