Supposedly, GIA classifies vanadium beryls as emeralds. If you decide to order a GIA lab report, I place no guarantees on the lab report outcome other than it being a natural beryl (Emerald is in the beryl family). Its a very pretty open toned gem. Perfect for a ring.
