There's a lot to say about this sapphire. The color shift tricked me initially. Two cameras picked up both colors. By trick, I mean the color shifts from a steelier shade of green to a vibrant shade of green with off-center viewing. If you look directly at the gem, it will appear a steelier, blander shade of green, but look away and it appears a brilliant shade of green. The color shift is more noticeable in daylight. The phone camera depicted the blander shade of green more accurately, whilst the full-frame camera depicted the brilliant shade of green better. What to expect? In most lighting expect the softer steelier shade of green. Look away and you'll catch a glimpse of that brilliant shade of green. The best way I would describe this gem is having multiple personalities in the same light; each personality is relative to where it is in your field of view. The color shift can range from being very subtle in some lighting to a shocking shift in other lighting. Inclusions are visible without magnification. This sapphire is well-sized for a ring. It's a very unusual and unique sapphire; one of a kind is an understatement.
