This listing is for the depicted loose gemstone that I personally precision faceted on my custom-made lapidary equipment.

• 1.1carats
• 6.8mm in width, 7.1mm in length, and 4.2mm in total depth
• Cut in my own hexagonal/shield design
• Unheated/untreated

Detailed Gem Description:

A natural and untreated tourmaline that has a very slightly bluish-Green hue, a medium dark tone, and strong saturation.   An inclusion is visible without magnification.  To make sure there's no confusion, this isn't chrome-bearing tourmaline.  In lower light environments it appears medium-dark/dark but with a light source, it opens up to a brilliant electric green gem.  In low light, you can still see the body color and the facets.   See the last two photos for reference on how I graded these. To maintain originality, I personally made the reference graphics with gems of my own design but it is based on GIA's color description system.

Photos were taken in daylight exclusively. Videos were taken outdoors under a blue sky with the sun overhead, additional videos were taken indoors in passive lighting, under my overhead LED lights, and by a window.  Please review all the videos thoroughly

Gemstone Rough Country of Origin: Malawi
Cutter: Sennin
Gem Setting level of difficulty: Advanced

• Microscopy Report:
A healed fluid fracture is visible under the table without magnification. See the photomicrographs for reference. If you zoom in, you can see part of the channels where the fluid once resided. I used oblique illumination to take those photomicrographs.
