This is a gorgeous open toned olive green/forest green sapphire. Indoors in passive lighting and under my work lamps its an open tone of olive green. In daylight under a blue sky its a more saturated shade of green with a hint of yellowish green when it catches direct sunlight. This an open toned sapphire, it will glow and sparkle in any light. Although not particularly large, this is a very desirable untreated sapphire.
- This sapphire has a Green to yellowish Green hue depending on the light source. It has a medium tone and moderately strong saturation. This sapphire is loupe clean. Some inclusions typical of corundum can be seen if you view it under a higher power microscope.
