This is a petite, deep blue, darker-toned sapphire. In low lighting, it will appear an almost opaque shade of dark blue. In daylight or under a light, it opens up to a rich shade of velvety blue. Be sure to view the video on hand indoors in low lighting. The color is quite stunning. Yes, it was snowing when I videotaped it in the acrylic case. We got 16 inches of snow here over the weekend!
