• Finished at 50.89 Carats
• 29.7mm in length, 16.6mm in width, and 15.9mm in depth
Update 1: 8/21
- Pre-form complete, in this step, I ground out any deep concavities and started to create the rough outline of the gem.
- Custom brass holder complete
- Tentative gem design has begun. The shape will be subject to change based on the outcome of the next step - faceting of the pavilion (bottom half of the gem)
Update2: 10/7
Final polished the pavilion, moving forward with final shape determination and crown faceting!
This listing is a deposit for a custom faceting on a 122.65-carat unheated Tanzanite rough
- I will inspect and report on the rough before proceeding to facet - An Eye clean is required
- Estimated 30-40 carat final yield
- If approved for faceting, I will reach out with a shape/facet design proposal
- If approved, up to a 5-week lead time for faceting
- GIA lab report included
- The remaining balance will be due on completion of the gem
- Credit from order #1693 applied to the deposit
