• Cut in my bespoke Esko Universe Cut ™ pattern, this stone features a contemporary cushion shape
• Uncut gem sourced from Tanzania
• Unheated/untreated
• Inclusions visible 
• medium/medium light tone 

An extremely desirable color. This is a gorgeous sapphire with a beautiful color gradient from a light silvery blue to a violet. Inclusions typical of sapphire from the Umba valley are visible without magnification.  This will make a stunning centerpiece for any ring design. 


This photo displays "Rose Channels" in this sapphire. Rose channels are hollow tubes.

This is the feather inclusion near the gem's edge. It looks like there was fluid in there once upon a time.  The pretty needle-looking inclusions are Rutile silk needles.  Also, a few very small negative crystals are visible throughout this photo.
