This is a stunning piece of tourmaline, it does, however, lean a little bit darker. That means in low lighting, the colors won't be as vivid as if you were in daylight or holding it under a direct light. The color split is also much more subtle in low lighting. Inclusions are visible without magnification. With that in mind, it is priced appropriately. I would classify this as an orange/red tourmaline. Rubellite by definition, means a red tourmaline, and this one lands on that spectrum in my opinion.
