This listing is for the depicted loose gemstone that I personally precision cut on my lapidary equipment
• 2.5 carats • 9.7mm in length, 6.2mm in width and 5.2mm in depth • Cut in my own hexagonal design • Untreated • Naturally occurring • Corundum (sapphire)
Gemstone Rough Country of Origin: Montana, USA Cutter: Sennin
Unique attributes: A few inclusions can observed with the naked eye but still a gorgeous gem. In daylight & artificial light the gem appears blue with a hint of purple, however if you look on inch to the side the gem turns color to a brilliant green. I wasn't able to capture the green with either camera but it is noticeable. The video camera was able to render the most accurate color depiction of this gem.
Gemological description: A natural untreated corundum (sapphire) with a bluish violet hue, medium tone and slightly grayish saturation. A slight color shift can be observed in daylight.
