Detailed Gem Description:
A natural and untreated corundum (sapphire) that has a dominant blue hue under a blue sky, a mixed blue and green hue under an overcast sky, and a steely blue hue indoors. It has a medium tone and strong saturation. A slight color shift is observed in daylight, with off center viewing the gem's dominant hue turns from blue to dominantly green. Under cool spectrum artificial lighting both blue & green are observed and under warm spectrum artificial lighting the gem has a hint of purple. It is eye-clean! Inclusions typical of sapphire from this locality can be observed under magnification. See the last four photos for reference on how I graded these. To maintain originality, I personally made the reference graphics with gems of my own design but it is based on GIA's color description system.
Photos were taken in daylight exclusively. Videos were taken outdoors under a blue sky with the sun overhead, additional videos were taken indoors in passive lighting, under my overhead led lights, and by a window. Please review all the videos thoroughly.

• Microscopy Report:
Some negative crystals resembling sugar are present, and a few rutile needles are also visible off to one side. The crisp in tact nature of the rutile needles is an indicator this sapphire has not undergone heat treatment.
