• One of a kind, I was able to remove all of the imperfections and cut an eye-clean gem!
• Gemological description: A natural spinel with a purple hue, a dark to very dark tone and strong saturation. Eye clean! only one small imperfection can be viewed under magnification.
Photos and videos were taken outdoors under an overcast sky with the sun making an appearance near the horizon, additional videos were taken indoors under my overhead led lights.
*This is a dark-toned inky gem, in low lighting or high contrast lighting (like a sunny day) it will appear opaque with occasional flashes of purple and gray. Under direct light (like your desk lamp, overhead light or direct sunlight) it opens up to an electric purple. Bright low contrast light (like outside on a gloomy overcast day) is the best lighting to view this gem, it naturally glows under this type of light.
