This listing is for the depicted loose gemstone that I personally precision cut on my lapidary equipment
• 0.67 carats • 6mm in length, 4.6mm in width and 3.4mm in depth (low profile) • Cut in my own fantasy hexagonal design • Untreated • Naturally occurring • Corundum (sapphire)
• One of a kind, I was able to remove all of the noticeable imperfections. A few minor imperfections can be viewed under magnification or if you look really closely. This is an open tone gem, it will sparkle and glow in any light! This gem has some unique color zoning, yellow can be viewed on one of the long angles at a tilt, see video. Up close it also has defined color zoning bands. Very pretty gem. Its perfect sized for a petite ring.
• Gemological description: A natural corundum (sapphire) with a very slightly greenish blue hue, a medium/medium dark tone and vivid saturation. Some imperfections can be viewed under magnification.
Photos and videos were taken outdoors under an overcast sky (its almost winter here) and additional videos were taken indoors under my overhead led lights.
