• Detailed Gem Description:
A natural corundum with a definitive color shift depending on the lighting. In most indoor environments I saw a dominant deep green color, by a window or outside it is intensely blue. The hue is greenish Blue to bluish Green depending on the light. The color change is slightly due to dichroism, but I am of the opinion that the change in appearance from green to blue is also due to contrast, indoors most lighting is softer and of a narrow band spectrum, outdoors, the sky and sun are particularly bright which exposes and lightens up the gems tone a little more. Its not a book definition of color change but will have a notably different appearance in daylight vs indoors. If It has a medium, almost borderline medium-dark tone, and moderately strong saturation. It is eye clean, some imperfections typical of corundum can be viewed under magnification.
Photos were taken in daylight exclusively. Videos were taken outdoors under a blue sky with the sun overhead, additional videos were taken indoors in passive lighting, under my overhead led lights, and by a window. Please review all the videos thoroughly.

This sapphire is particularly clean, it has one partially healed fracture near the girdle edge, although not visible without magnification it is notable under 10x magnification. The photos depict this inclusion clearly. Low-temperature heat treatment was applied to this sapphire.
