• Detailed Gem Description:
A natural tanzanite that has a dominant purple hue and a secondary blue hue. The color depends on the light though, in daylight I found it to have a dominant blue appearance, in softer indoor lighting I saw a more dichroic gem with purple dominant on the long edges and a baby blue by the center. It has a medium light tone and slightly grayish saturation. It is eye clean! This is an open-tone gem, it will glow and sparkle in even the lowest lighting!
Photos and videos were taken outdoors under a partly cloudy sky with the sun near the horizon, additional videos were taken indoors in passive lighting, under my overhead led lights, and by a window. Please review all the videos thoroughly.
