This listing is for the depicted loose gemstone that I personally precision faceted on my custom-made lapidary equipment
• 1.42 carats • 7.6mm from point to point, 5.7mm in width, and 4.3mm in depth • Faceted in my own Linear Galaxy navette design • Unheated/Untreated • Naturally occurring corundum (sapphire) • Inclusions visible
Detailed Gem Description:
A natural and untreated corundum (sapphire) with a blue hue, a light to very light tone, and slightly grayish to grayish saturation. One inclusion is visible without magnification near the girdle edge. This is an open-tone sapphire, it will glow and sparkle in any lighting!
See the last graphic for reference on how I graded these. To maintain originality, I made the reference graphics with gems of my own design but it is based on GIA's color description system.
Photos were taken in daylight near dusk with a blue sky overhead. The first four (4) videos were taken in daylight under a blue sky with the sun overhead. The fifth video was taken indoors in passive lighting and under my overhead led lighting. The sixth video was taken on an overcast day. Please review all the videos thoroughly.
